Domino's Latest Update

Domino is still unsure of all this shuffling from place to place. But he doesn't complain.  At least the pesky cone is off.  Much easier to pet him and show him some people do care and will never dump him.  He's not shy of strangers! Maintenance man came to do repairs and he didn't flinch or act nervous. We're sure he could learn to go on regular outings and travel.

Daffney, Calico older kitten for Adoption

DAFFNEY (light calico)
The Monkey, the Diva, the Lover

Daffney thinks she's a monkey and will either reach up to you and stretch her front paws on your leg while meowing or if you don't pay attention to her right away, she will jump on your legs and scramble to your shoulder like a monkey! If you squat to clean the litter and haven't given her enough attention, she will jump on your back and perch on your shoulder, again like a monkey.

This monkey business is an effort expecting you, no demanding you, to give her food or pick her up (the Diva), to pet her and she''ll give you kisses (licks) and rub her whiskers on your chin to say you are hers! (The Lover). She'll also snuggle with you on the sofa and bed.

Daffney is 8 months old.  She has all shots, tested negative for Fiv and FeLV, and is spayed.  Adoption fee is $85.00.  Adopt her and her foster sister, Sobe for one adoption fee and receive a gift basket with cat food toys, pet care book, bowls, and bottle of Coppola wine PLUS a ModKat litter box.

Millie & Tillie--Love to Reach Out and Touch Your Hands and Heart!

Think of a precious heirloom passed from owner to owner; each move risks the fragile nature of its keepsake. This is the story of Millie and Tillie.
These beautiful, gentle, and well-behaved feline sisters have survived so much together. First, they were brought to a kill-shelter when they were just five weeks old and barely survived – thankfully, a local rescue found them a foster home just in time. They were adopted together as kittens, but sadly “returned" a year later. Millie and Tillie are back in foster care waiting for a loving home that will not give them up again.

Millie, a born leader

Millie is the larger and braver one and the leader. Tillie is a little shy, but once she builds trust, she will gently reach out with her paws to "grab" your attention. They both need and have so much love to give! They crave affection, so much so they will jump up to meet your hands when you pet them. You can expect head rubs, non-stop purring and gentle nibbles. If they are physically separated too long, they meow in search of the other.

Tillie the touchy feely kitty

These sisters have a very strong bond and need to be adopted together. Millie and Tillie are up-to-date on their shots, spayed, micro-chipped, and tested (negative) for FIV/FeLk. They just turned three years old this month. If you would like to meet this loving pair, please contact Christina at cdm1580@bellsouth.net or call 786-573-1580 or call/text 305-338-4534.

For Adoption: Diana The Superstar

Diana is a one year old long-hair, gorgeous Maine Coon type. Brown/beige tabby with beautiful white markings (chest, ruff, paws, tummy) & green eyes. Very playful, sweet, smart and affectionate.

Lovely Diana was scared, hissy, and focused on just one task when she was rescued: protecting her kittens. She was a loving cat mom; her babies William, Kate, Harry, and Pippa did well and were adopted, two by two. Then Diana went into rehab with her rescuer, a professional cat trainer who honored Diana’s innately gentle personality and set about winning her trust with Reiki, Tellington TTouch, play therapy, massage, slow blinks, and lots of love. Diana quickly turned around and gave the precious gift of her trust.

Diana’s story is heartwarming because under her gorgeous fur beats a heart of gold. Beautiful Diana is living proof of the transformative power of love: By now she has changed from a sad little waif into a regal, gorgeous cat worthy of her namesake, Princess Diana. She has a world of love and fun to share with a special someone. She loves to play and is friendly with other cats. She likes watching TV and lap-sitting. She enjoys tummy rubs and brushing. She rewards attention and affection with big purrs. She is a superstar!

Anyone interested in Diana, please contact Foster Mom Karen at 305 205-4646 or email her at karen90new@gmail.com.

For Adoption: Millie & Tillie

Think of a precious heirloom passed around from owner to owner. But each move risks the fragile nature of this keepsake. This is the story of Millie & Tillie.

These stunning feline sisters have been bounced around like used tennis balls. Their first owner dropped them off at a kill shelter. Thankfully a local rescue organization saved them and found them a new home. Sadly, they were "returned" a year later. The son of the family developed "severe allergies". Millie & Tillie are back in foster care.

Millie is the brave one and hence the leader. Tillie, on the other paw, loves to reach out with her paws to "grab" your attention. They love to be petted and hugged. If they are physically separated too long, they meow in search for the other. These sisters have strong bond and will not be separated.

Despite bouncing from home to home, it's that bond that keeps them grounded, sweet natured and open-hearted, ready to accept a permanent home.

Remember adopting adult cats is much easier than adopting kittens. You know their personality and disposition and don't have to worry about your furniture and decor getting destroyed or shredded. These are fine ladies at two years of age.

If you would like to meet Millie & Tillie, please contact Christina at cdm1580@bellsouth.net or call 786-573-1580.
